I'm Not Sure Of Home Based Eagles In World Cup - Keshi

Chief Coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi has declared that he is not sure whether any of the home-based player that won the bronze medal of the just concluded Africa Nations Championship, CHAN, can make his squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil in June.
Although four of the players have been pencilled down to be called to camp ahead of the World Cup, Keshi noted that he cannot guarantee that any of them will have a shirt to represent Nigeria at the World Cup where Nigeria had been grouped against Argentina, Iran and Bosnia.
“Though I have in mind of calling four of the players that played at CHAN in South Africa to camp ahead of the World Cup; for any of them to play in the World Cup, it is not my decision but how well they prove themselves”
“It won’t be easy because the competition for World Cup shirts will be tough, only the best is sure of making the final list,” said Keshi when the bronze medal winning Eagles returned from CHAN Sunday night.

I agree with Stephen Keshi's idea.None of de players at CHAN shld even think of playing for Nigeria at de world cup. These guys wasted dia chances and dey played nonsense. So,wats now de guarantee dat dey wont do same wen dey face teams like Argentina,Iran,Bosnia Herzegovinia,Uruguay,Portugal, etc?Dey will just faint ooo.But like Keshi said,he's willing to give any of dem a chance 2 play @ world cup if dey prove theirslvs worthy of putting on de Nigerian jersey to play football.Altho' some of dem tried shaa; But dey seriously gambled with our chances of winning CHAN.I just hope dat dey have learnt their lessons and i pray dat Nigeria will get to de world cup finals. If God wills,we will lift dat trophy as winners of FIFA 2014 World Cup.
