Read Aisha Falode Final Tribute To Her Only Son Who Was Killed In Dubai

Oloruntoba Oluwadamilola, the 19-year old son of ace broadcaster, Aisha Falode, who died on Saturday, 15 February 2014, was buried amidst tears two days ago, Monday, March 3 in Lagos. The funeral service held at Trinity House, Victoria Island, while the internment took place at Ikoyi Vaults and Gardens in Lagos. You recall the press had initially said Toba died in a car accident only for family sources to later reveal that Toba had actually been pushed off a 17 storey building by an Arab guy.
For his burial, to celebrate the life he lived, his grieving mum wrote this emotional tribute to him titled: You Are Me, I Am You. Please read below:
I held you in my arms and my heart burst into a million pieces of joy. It was an indescribable moment. You were adorable as I touched every bit of you. Giddy with joy, I counted your toes, your fingers, tiny and wriggly; a tough bundle of joy.
Your innocent gaze upon my face, those two adorable eyes, wide and searching as only a child’s would. All the gems in Arabia would fade into insignificance at the emergence of your presence. My son had come into the world, whole and complete you were. I had looked forward to having my own son. I carried you with pride and honour in my womb for 9 good months. Knowing that you will eventually be born made the discomforts of 9months seem like chewing a candy bar. Here at last you were.
As you grew up into a most interesting young star, you were my joy. In all of my trying moments, knowing that you trusted me and believed in me spurred me through even the roughest terrain. Your childhood was joyful. Your sister and you were my life. You still are my life. Nothing can erase your memory, not a thousand winds or a million rainfalls can replace those memories, not even a fearsome volcano can wipe you from me.
You are me, I am you.
I am devastated, I am pained, I am inconsolable, I am a mother shattered. Who can console me but God? He knows best and did they not say those HE loves HE calls home early?
My son, the curtain fell too early for you, for us. I am in the audience; I cannot jump on the stage where you are. Even if I could, the curtain is drawn already. I cannot reach you. I am tempted to say, why me, but why not me? God loves us. HE took you my bundle of joy, even now I lean on HIM. I can see you, stretching out those strong arms, I see you trying to console me, I see you saying: “Mum, it was meant to be, it is not your fault”, I see you. I see you everywhere.
Together, we walked for 19yrs, you brought me joy. You excelled in your academics, you made me a proud mother as you grew into a handsome, responsible, caring, humane, disciplined man. I will forever remember you my son. Those fun times, the times you held me when I was down, like the man of the house, which you became so early in life…I am consoled because I know for sure that you are in the bosom of the LORD.
I know for sure that we will meet again. You have not died, you are only asleep. This thought will keep me going until I behold your delightful presence again. I know you are here for I am you and you are me.

SHOCKING: Obesere Arrested for Rape...How Shocked are You?

You all must have read the story by now, guys but let's read what you think about it. Who do you believe - the young lady, Olaiya, who is definitely traumatised cos she was raped by a man she believed was responsible or the celebrity, Obesere who says he is shocked Olaiya reported to police after they had sex as lovers.
According to Vanguard, popular Fuji musician,  Alhaji Abass Akande, aka Obesere, has been arrested  by the Police in Lagos State for allegedly raping a 29-year-old business woman, Miss Olanike Olaiya in his Okota residence, Lagos.
The victim, who took the matter to the Police, narrated her ordeal in the hands of the musician whose shows generally fascinate society women.
According to Olaiya, a  National Diploma graduate of business administration from Ibadan Polytechnic:
“I got to know  Obesere through one of my friends, Mrs Bola Okoro. She told me that Obesere would assist me in my business. I deal in office equipment and when I contacted Obesere, he asked me to meet him in his family house at Okota.  When I  met him, I  introduced my business to him and he promised to connect me to some of his friends in Dubai who would sell  goods to me on credit.
After the discussion, he started demanding for sex and I refused and when I wanted to leave, he insisted I should sleep over in his house because it was late and he claimed that it was dangerous to go out late in the night in his area. I thought he was a responsible man and I decided to sleep over, but at the dead of the night, he came into the room where I slept and pounced on me.
He raped me and afterwards inserted a ring he wore into my  private part  and I started bleeding. He hurriedly  left me in the room saying he had an appointment to fulfil. I could not bear the trauma and the bleeding and I reported the matter  to the police.”
Vanguard gathered that Obesere was first arrested last Wednesday by the Police at Isolo Police Division, where Olaiya reported the matter. He was subsequently released on administrative bail. He  was later re-arrested on Monday, when medical examination conducted on Olaiya revealed that she was actually raped and the Divisional Police Officer, Isolo,  Adamu Ibrahim, was said to have ordered the transfer of the matter to State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba, for further investigation.
Sources disclosed that Obesere’s arrest was made possible through a warrant of arrest issued by the Chief Magistrate of Isolo Magistrate Court, Mrs Kike Bukola Ayeye, as he had declined to honour several police invitations sent to his  house at Johnson Famiye Street, Canal Estate, Ago, Okota.
Police sources also said Obesere in his statement denied ever raping Olaiya, rather he claimed she was his lover and they made love when she visited him.The source added that Obesere claimed he asked her to go to a private hospital for treatment when she complained that she was bleeding, but he was surprised when she reported to the police that she was raped.

FUNNY: Spoilt Teenage Girl Sues Her Parents For Money

Rachel
This case you are about to read has gone viral and is currently trending in the United States. Just imagine this happening in Nigeria.

A New Jersey teenager, 18 years old Rachel Canning, has sued her parents because, she claims, they threw her out of the house when she turned 18 and refused to pay for her private high school and college education.

According to Rachel, her mother and father kicked her out of their home and cut her off financially when she
turned 18, November 1st 2013, and that they have been mean to her. She also claimed abuse, even though there's no evidence of that other than a yelling match a school official witnessed between Canning and her mother.

So, in the lawsuit, Rachel asked the court to force her parents to pay her living and transportation expenses for the foreseeable future, pay the outstanding tuition for her private high school, use money from an existing college fund to pay for at least some of her college education.

The parents, meanwhile, say that daughter Rachel Canning, 18, is “an incredibly rebellious teen.” Rachel's father, Sean Canning, a town administrator and retired police officer, said he and wife never kicked Rachel out at all. Instead, he explains, she up and left on her own in late October because she didn’t want to abide by her parents’ rules.  He said:
We love our child and miss her. This is terrible. It’s killing me and my wife. We have a child we want home. We’re not Draconian and now we’re getting hauled into court.
Rachel's parents say they asked her to reconsider her relationship with a boyfriend they believe may be a bad influence, but Rachel would hear none of that. She's not respectful, she won't abide by her curfew.
“Living in our house, there’s very few things. There’s minor chores. There’s curfews. When I say curfew, it’s usually after 11 o’clock at night. She’s demanding that we pay her bills but she doesn’t want to live at home, and she’s saying, ‘I don’t want to live under your rules.’”
For months now, Rachel — an honor student, cheerleader, and lacrosse player — has been living with her best friend, Jaime Inglesino's family. And Jaime's father, attorney John Inglesino, is bankrolling Rachel’s lawsuit. He’s also requesting in the lawsuit that the Cannings reimburse him for the legal fees, so far totaling $12,597 (over N2million).

This Man Used To Be Gay Till Someone Set Him Ablaze. Now He Is A Woman! (PHOTOS)

Tori Banks (lady pictured above) used to be a gay man called Russell. A 23-year-old male model and part-time barman in his prime – popular, happy and looking forward to a career in theatre.

But one dark day a random evil thug called Mitchell Dean destroyed his world. Dean ran into the pub where Russell worked, threw lighter fuel in his face and set him ablaze.

Russell was left with 30 per cent burns to his upper body and kept in a coma with little chance of survival. When he did fight back from the brink of death and saw himself in the mirror, he contemplated suicide.

Then, from somewhere stretching back into his childhood, a ray of hope emerged.

Tori explains:

“I didn’t want to go on living because the attack had taken every last ounce of my identity away from me. I didn’t look or feel like Russell any more. Then something life-changing happened. One night I was at home when I thought that to carry on I had to be someone else. Someone better. I realised it was a clean slate and a chance to be anything I wanted. That thing wasn’t a gay man any more – it was a woman.
Everything in me told me that. I looked back at the way I was as a child – always opting for girly clothes and toys. I remembered realising I fancied boys for the first time and being told by people I was gay, so that was what I accepted. But deep down it wasn’t that. I was born in the wrong body, but I’d suppressed it.”
Russell realised there was no going back. So Tori must go forward.
“I found something inside myself that night stronger than I ever imagined. Russell died in those flames but I hadn’t. I was still alive and I had a chance to start again. Everything I used to be had been stripped away and I was left with one thing – a woman. Tori was the phoenix rising from the ashes.”
Now Tori is preparing to start her clinical sex-change next week after 18 months proving she can live as a woman.

Should I Allow My Wife Sell Her Body To Take Care Of The Family?

Dear readers,
Please don’t crucify me, just read and advise.

My wife agreed to advertise herself for paid sex to help pay the bills. The idea of her having sex with someone else fascinated me but how I wish I could turn back the clock. I’m 31 and my wife’s 29. We have two young children. My salary at work has been reduced and it is a real worry with all the bills mounting up. My wife works part-time but wanted to help.

We thought her selling sex would be an easy way to make quick money. The idea fascinated me. I really enjoyed the thought of her having sex with someone else and getting well paid in return. Our first customer was a middle-aged man. I let him go up to the spare room with my wife and they spent an hour there together. The moment I let this man go upstairs the thought of my wife having sex with someone else killed me from the inside. I felt sick to my stomach.

I spent that hour sitting outside the room listening to them. After this first session I dropped the idea of any future customers. We set the money on fire as I didn’t want to spend it on us or my family. My wife was in tears as soon as the customer left. She didn’t want to do it and she later told me that she didn’t enjoy the sex. To her it was simply a business arrangement. We don’t know where to go from here. We are still desperate for money and can’t think of any other way to get more income.

Was it hard for me to bear because it was my first time? Will I get used to it as we attract more customers? Please help!

Ladies, 5 Secrets You Must NEVER Tell Your Best Friend

As kids, you might have pledged a sorority to share your darkest secrets with each other, and that must have been stamped as a lifelong bond back then. But at times, it’s okay to not tell your best friend everything under the sun. Keeping silent about some of the details doesn’t really hurt or mean that you’re making an effort to disrespect the sacred bond of ‘friendship’. Sometimes ‘not everything’ is fine, especially in front of your bestie. Here’s our list of what’s ‘alright’ to avoid telling your best friend.

1. Oops, I Know that already

“Guess what, my little brother is dating a girl, and arrghh, how I hate that woman!,” exclaimed your enraged favourite pal over a plate of pasta while at a Sunday brunch with you. And you’ve almost choked on that spaghetti while deciding on ‘should she know, shouldn’t she know’, because well, you did see her little brother coochie-cooing with this girl your best friend disapproves, and you also knew where it was heading. Such exclusive yet unwanted trivia, especially about her little brother or someone really close to her, trust us it’s better left unsaid.

2. That’s what your parents told me

When you’ve known a friend for the longest time, chances are their parents trust you more than them (unless they think you’re the one responsible for shaping up the brat their kid is). So when your bosom friend’s ‘not-so-happy’ parents are confiding in you about this certain something they can’t discuss with their child, you can skip that from your friend. Whether it’s about them or not, it’s quite possible that your friend might feel a little threatened by your closeness to their parents.

3. Emm, yeah I did that

So you went for this office conference to Goa, guzzled drinks like it was nobody’s business, and before you knew it, you’d made the stupidest mistake of your life, made out with your married boss. And yes, you’re embarrassed and not very proud of the deed. It’s okay if you keep this ‘little secret from your BFF. It’s best not to disclose fractions of info you think you’re capable to erase in a jiffy, unless you want to make it a recurrent joke at get-togethers.

4. I’m involved, or maybe not

You might have walked into this situation a couple of times. Sometimes you think you’re in a relationship but are not quite sure; or maybe there’s that something special brewing up between new guy and you but, well, it’s still at that raw stage. It’s perfectly alright not to voice out your feelings, even if it is to your bestie, until you’re certain about it. Take your time in announcing or introducing a date to your ‘friend-forever’, but once you’re sure of Mr Perfect, maybe you can give your friend her much-deserved chance to sign and seal your decision.

5. I liked him too

Being the key organiser of your best friend’s hen night, you’ve listed a game of truth or dare in the party agenda. We beg you; if the bottle points at you and a couple of friends scream out ‘Give us the truth’, at no level of intoxication should you utter ‘Bestie, I had a huge crush on your fiance’. You don’t want Miss BFF to feel insecure about you seducing her soul-mate, or guarding her husband from you. Avoid the drama and leave the crush bit unsaid, unless you’ve a bestie as cool as the tip of the iceberg.

United Nations Blasts Goodluck Jonathan On The Slaughter Of Innocent Souls By Boko Haram

The United Nations on Wednesday urged President Goodluck Jonathan and the Nigerian security agencies to find all the means to end the killings and violence in the country.

President Goodluck Jonathan and Security agencies of Nigeria has been told by the United Nations to secure the safety of her citizens.

The head of the United Nations Office for West Africa (UNOWA), Mr. Said Djinnit said that the whole UN is concerned over Nigeria’s Security situation and wants an end to the boko haram caused violence.

The United Nations official also condemned the latest wave of “unspeakable” violence in the region and demanded an end to attacks targeting innocent civilians.

Djinnit pressed further that the unprecedented cycle of violence in Nigeria must stop, stressing that the people of Nigeria deserved to live in peace and security. He also deplored the recent killings of some 80 people by unidentified armed groups in Maiduguri, Mainok and Mafa villages in Borno State.

In his statement on the more renewed violence, Mr. Djinnit, who is also Special Representative of the Secretary-General for West Africa, said the recent attacks, a series of deadly car bombings, according to media reports, which resulted in the death of more than 80 people, were further unspeakable violence against innocent civilians who he claimed had been regularly targeted by indiscriminate terrorist attacks.

Expressing condolences to the bereaved families and to the people and the government of Nigeria, he reiterated the need to protect civilians and expressed the hope that the perpetrators of the attacks would be brought to justice.

It would be recalled that Borno, along with Nigeria’s northern states of Adamawa and Yobe, have been under states of emergency since May 2013 as the army fights Boko Haram insurgents.

An Iranian man has been sentenced to having his eyes gouged out, his right ear and nose cut off as punishment for throwing acid in the face of a young girl causing her to lose her eyesight, right ear and nose, an Iranian court has ruled.

Haaretz.com reports that the man was convicted in October 2013 of intentionally attacking the girl after a love gone sour. Iran's high court wants the body parts the victim lost during the vicious attack to be removed from the perpetrator's body as payback and have defended their decision.

The national council said Iran's high court defended cutting off the body parts of those found guilty of a crime, and removing eyes, as part of the country's judicial system.

Who approves of this kind of punishment?
