Brazil World Cup: Keshi tips Super Eagles for trophy

Super Eagles Chief Coach, Stephen Keshi, is optimistic that apart from beating Ethiopia in Saturday’s World Cup qualifier in Calabar, the Nigerian team is capable of winning the Brazil 2014 World Cup.
Keshi expressed the optimism in an interactive session with newsmen in Calabar on Wednesday, ahead of the crucial qualifier against the Walya Antelopes.
He also stated that the support of his players, assistant coaches and the back room crew members, were responsible for the successes of the national team and for his being regarded as the most successful indigenous coach in Nigeria.
”Beyond our match with Ethiopia on Saturday, the Super Eagles can win the Brazil 2014 World Cup. Why not? My brother it is possible, anything is possible in football,” Keshi said while responding to a question.
He also restated the secrets of Eagles successes so far: ”May be my assistant coaches and I are the best indigenous coaches in football that Nigeria ever had.
”The real secrets for our successes are the players, my coaches, the assistant coaches; these are the ones that plot all the teams that we beat all the time.
”I have great staff. We work together. We share ideas. It is a collective effort; not just me.
”I thank God that I have this great, unique staff that I work with and of course the players because if they do not play well everything boils down to zero.”
He said that he was also able to get results due to discipline in the camp.
”The players are not bad. Every human being deserves respect, wants to be appreciated and I think that is what we are sharing between ourselves. I speak with them; they speak with me in an honest way. The line of communication is very open. There is mutual respect in the team. That is the bottom line.
”And of course there should be discipline. If you are not ready to abide by the rules of the game in this team, then you should not be part of this team.”
The team’s Captain, Vincent Enyeama, also gave assurance that the Super Eagles would do what was required to take the team to the Brazil 2014 World Cup.

Oshiomhole Has Nothing To Celebrate, Says PDP

Edo State chapter of Nigeria’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has alleged a total of N400 billion has accrued to the coffers of the state since Governor Adams Oshiomhole assumed the mantle of leadership of the state.
State Chairman of the party, Chief Dan Orbih who made the claim in Benin City on Wednesday, further alleged that the governor has run the state aground with a debt profile of over N250 billion.
•APC leaders at the 5th anniversary celebration of Gov Adams Oshiomhole's administration, yesterday in Benin City

Orbih who described the 5th anniversary celebration of Governor Oshiomhole as self aggrandizement, because nothing worthy of celebration has been accomplished in the state, added that Oshiomhole has not been able to justify the monies with developmental projects in the state.
“Governor Adams Oshiomhole’s administration has collected over N400 billion since 2008. This is apart from the N33.4 billion he has collected in five years as the cost of running government security votes. Oshiomhole has collected N19 billion as security votes alone.
“What is on ground to show for all these monies? Oshiomhole has spent N47 billion on drainages alone. He also went to the capital market to raise money for the Benin Storm Water Project. However, it is difficult to move from one point to another anytime it rains in the state. The roads are in terrible shapes and lives and properties are daily lost to flood in Edo State,” Orbih said.
He further stated that while N136.7 billion was spent on road project in the state in the last one year, “it is surprising that Governor Oshiomhole has been commissioningm roads of about 200 metres.”
According to the state PDP chairman, the standard of living in the state has not improved since Oshiomhole became governor, and policies such as poor health care provision, conduct of flawed local government election, oppressive tax policies, ban on motorcycle without recourse to an alternative transport system and a non-performing budget among others, have been used to impoverished the people.
He also accused the government of Edo State of dragging the judiciary in the state into  partisan politics, saying that the presence of the Chief Justice of the state at the launch of the APC was condemnable.

Dear RIB men, how many of you agree with what Akon said?

Akon who is a known polygamist said in a recent interview that monogamy is not only 'stupid'; it’s 'impossible.' Read what he said below and tell us if you agree with him..
"The average guy in the world has a main girl and they got a side chick. And then they got a jumpoff. At the end of the day as a male we are natural breeders by nature. We can’t even escape it if we wanted to.
Let’s say you put 1,000 guys on one corner and one bad chick walk passed. You gon’ see 1,000 heads go, ‘Damn.’ They don’t even know why they doing it. They’re natural breeders. It’s in their genes, they can’t help it. Men are put on this earth to breed and the reason why God put multiple women on this earth is for that.
People are having relationships, boyfriend and girlfriend, and treating it like it’s actually marriage. You’re just dating.
The whole purpose of dating is so you can date this one, and date this one, and date this one until you find out, ‘Okay, this is the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. Okay now, I commit to what’s called marriage.’
You find that one woman that supplies everything that you desire in a woman, of course that will be a motivation to stick with that one woman, but I don’t know no one woman that can satisfy every man’s one need. It’s impossible. Just like there’s no man that can satisfy a woman’s every need. Women just aren’t built to breed like that or… mate with more than one partner. Women aren’t built that way, men are.”

Dear RIB Readers, What Will You Do If You Catch Your Spouse In This Peculiar Cheating Situation?

I got this from Moji Delano's blog.
 Read below:

You're a wife who is very in love with your husband, though most times he's always busy(or so he claims) and barely really has time for you. You however try to be very understanding and over look many things.
On this particular occasion, you have a wedding to attend, and then pleaded with your husband, if he could drop you off at the wedding. Your pleas fell on deaf ears, as he insisted he had a very busy Saturday and had to even work at the office.

You make no issue about it and end up taking a cab to to the wedding. At the wedding, you meet a young lady, in your age bracket whom you bond with. When you were about to leave, you ask her how she transported her self, and she tells you her very amazing boyfriend who does everything for her brought her to the wedding. She continues by persuading you to wait, because she's sure her boyfriend who will be coming again to pick her once she called will be nice enough to drop you at home. Thinking about he stress and cost of taking a cab, you happily waited with your new friend for the arrival of her chivalrous beau.
When he arrives, and you guys go to the entrance of the hall, you shockingly discover the car looks like, or is in fact your husband's car, but decided on a second thought not to react in other to catch him red-handed. Fortunately, your husband didn't get to see you until you had entered the back seat. Just like you, he was shocked, but acted oblivious as he tried to chat with his 'girlfriend' as usual. He however did a very bad job, as his nervousness became very evident even to your 'new friend.'
He drives you to you matrimonial home, and you alight thanking him profusely as you watched him drive off to drop his 'girlfriend'....

...The man in question quickly makes excuses for not been able to wait longer after dropping his girlfriend, but doesn't heard home immediately. He knows that this time, he has really 'done-did it' and doesn't even know from where to approach the situation...

So I'm asking:
As the woman, what will you do to your husband? How will you handle your husband's disrespect and infidelity?
As the man, who is really sorry, how will you appease your  wife, knowing how bad you messed up?
 Please use the comment box.
