In his sermon titled, “Journey Back to life,” Aibinoumo said “God showed Prof. Omo Omoruyi Mercy and love by adding Six more years to his days on Earth as he was seriously down with ailment 6 years ago, when nobody thought he could live another hour, but he stayed more than we thought he would because of God’s grace in his life.”
He further described the late Omoruyi as man of worthy of emulation as he was a fulfilled man, happy family man and a committed father.

Bayelsa Again:Communal Clash Claims Nine Lives
Agumada-Epie hosts the Central Naval Command of the Nigerian Navy and the South-South campus of the Nigeria Law School.
A community source said that the two neigbouring communities are locked in a dispute over a farm land behind the Law School campus.
According to the source, who pleaded anonymity for safety reasons, youths of the two communities, armed with guns and machetes, attacked each other in a fierce battle in the early hours of today.
Nine corpses have so far been recovered while many others were said to have sustained various degrees of gun and machete injuries, the source said. Five of the dead were said to be indigenes of Aguama-Epie.
The piece of land has been hotly disputed for many years but our source said that today’s clash was sparked off by the presence on the site of some members of a committee which was set up to resolve the dispute, a development which somehow angered some of the youths.
"The committee went to the land today, but their presence on the land did not go down well with some youths.
“Nine corpses have been recovered; youths from both communities are still missing while many others had gunshot injuries," the source said.
Bayelsa Police Command spokesman Alex Akhigbe confirmed the clash but declined to disclose the casualty figures.
He said the command had deployed policemen to the communities and that normalcy has been restored, but no arrests have been made.

APC Rejects ‘Supplementary’ Election In Anambra State
The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday rejected the announcement by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of its decision to hold a supplementary election in Anambra State on November 30.
"We will not be a party to what is obviously a travesty of election by a self-discredited and conniving electoral umpire," the party said in a statement issued in Lagos by its Interim National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.
It expressed “absolute shock and incredulity” that INEC could even contemplate such an election despite the weight of credible evidence presented by the party as well as election monitors/observers that what transpired on Nov. 16 was a sham.
"This announcement has confirmed our worst fears that INEC is working in cahoots with the PDP and the presidency to ensure that no election ever counts in Nigeria,” the statement said, noting that the INEC Chairman himself was the first to admit that a senior official of the commission compromised the election in one local government in the state.
"We on our own part were able to establish that materials meant for several LGs that were the strongholds of our candidate were diverted; that out of the about 1.7 million registered voters in Anambra, only a little over 400,000 were accredited to vote; and that the voters' register was apparently tampered with to remove many names and disenfranchise thousands of voters.
''Yet, the same electoral body that admitted that the election was compromised has turned around to validate it by its decision to organize supplementary election instead of cancelling the parody of election and holding a fresh one. This is a sad day indeed,'' APC said.
The party said it has become obvious that Nigerians cannot count on INEC to organize a free, fair and credible election anywhere in the country.
“Nigerians must now take their fate in their own hands to ensure that the principle of one man, one vote is sacrosanct,” APC warned.

Bayelsa Insecurity: Wife And Son Of PDP Chieftain Kidnapped
The high level of insecurity in Bayelsa, President Goodluck
Jonathan’s home state, rose again on Friday as daring gunmen seized two
adults and a child.
The kidnapping was the second in two days, following the abduction of the 78-year old father of the Commissioner of Tourism Development, Nelson Belief.
The two seized on Friday were the wife of Chief Gbalipre Turner, the state treasurer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and his son.
The incident took place at the family house in Opume, Ogbia Local Government Area, and it was subsequently confirmed by the Bayelsa Police Command.
The development has raised concern over the effectiveness of the special security outfit codenamed operation ‘Doo Akpo’ and the multi billion security surveillance project embarked upon by the Bayelsa government.
It is to be noted that President Jonathan hails from Ogbia, where a sister of one of his aides, Oronto Douglas, faced a similar fate last month.
Friday’s kidnappers have yet to make contact with the family, a source said.
The PDP chieftain is the younger brother of King Amalate Turner, the Obanema of Opume Kingdom.
