Rev King's Devotees Celebrate His Birthday With Newspapers

Devotees of Chukwuemeka Ezeugo a.k.a. Rev. King, founder of the Christian Praying Assembly, have marked his birthday in his absentia, describing him as their God.
PMNews reports that the members bought several pages of newspapers to congratulate King who is on deathrow. A women’s group in his church, St. Faith Woman (Daughters of the Kingdom of God), in their advert in a national daily described King as the light of the world.
“Daddy, you are the light of the world, a nation without you is in total darkness,” the group said.
They also described him as God and said they are proud of him because he will lead them to the promiseland just like Joshua led the Israelites in the Bible.“You are the unchangeable, unmovable and unstoppable God. We the entire members of St. Faith Women are happy because you are here on this earth to lead us to the promised land,” the group said in the advert.
Another devotee, Bishop Onyiliagha David King, while congratulating him, said:
“This date is worth remembering and celebrating for mankind especially to me you raised from the dead on 11 September, 2013 when death came over me.”He added: “By your command I came back to life, Daddy G.O. you are too much, even death obeys you, proving that you are the savior of mankind.”
Other devotees and group also congratulated and rejoiced with him on his birthday. They are St. Peters of C.P.A Worldwide, Evan. Clement, Thaddeus Elochukwu Obiora and others.
Justice Joseph Oyewwole of the Lagos High Court on 11 January, 2007 sentenced King to death by hanging for the murder of Ann Uzoh and attempted murder of five other devotees. The cleric appealed against the judgement at the Appeal Court, which affirmed the Lagos High Court verdict. He then headed to the Supreme Court where the matter is still pending. While he is still in prison custody, his church members are keeping his ministry alive.

"I Am Crazy About Snakes" Says A 9-Year-Old Girl Who Eats, Sleeps And Lives With Anaconda (PHOTOS)

Charming Krista plays with, trains and handles all the snakes at a local reptile house where she even feeds the alligators.

Little Krista Guarino is an expert snake handler despite being just 9 years-old.

The brave schoolgirl lives with a staggering 30 reptiles, including anacondas and a 12ft python at her home in Michigan, America.

She eats, sleeps and plays with the creatures – some of which are twice her size – and held her first snake when she was just two.

The plucky schoolgirl has even been bitten a few times but none of the snakes are venomous and Krista claims the bites don’t even hurt!

She said: “I’m never afraid of snakes, not even a little bit. I’m crazy for them.”

Krista, the eldest of three children, was first introduced to the animals by dad Jamie, 33, who is a snake specialist.

He said: “Snake was one of her first ever words. I knew when she was very little that they were going to be her passion.

From an early age she wasn’t like a normal kid – she wasn’t afraid of snakes at all.

She just wants to go up and grab them and pet them and play with them.”

During the summer holidays Krista helps Jamie out at their local reptile house and shows no fear when playing with, training or handling any snake.

The father and daughter team also enjoy weekends searching for rattlesnakes – one of the most dangerous species in the world.

And they upload their hair-raising videos of all their adventures to their SnakeHuntersTV channel on YouTube.

Krista has already set her sights on opening her own reptile zoo when she’s older because she wants to change perceptions about snakes.

She added: “Some people are afraid of snakes and they want to kill them but I think they’re really cool and interesting.

"How Boko Haram Butchered My Classmates" - Student Narrates Experience

As you read this, tens of thousands of Nigerians have gone to Niger to escape from the latest wave of attacks and bombings by the deadly sect, Boko Haram. A 14-year-old, JSS 2 student of Federal Government College, FGC, Bunu Yadi, Ibrahim Musa Lampo, who survived the horrific Boko Haram massacre on Tuesday which claimed the lives of 43 students, narrated his ordeal and how his school mates were gunned down by the insurgents.

Lampo who was shot in the leg and sustained few injuries in the attack said:

“I was shot on my left leg, while I was sleeping. When I woke up, I could not walk and was later taken to the girls hostel where the insurgents gathered us with the female students. They selected some of the female students and went away with them, while they left some of us groaning in pain from gun shot”.

The insurgents burnt down hostels, classrooms and more than 40 houses during the attack.

Vanguard reports:

Ibrahim who recounted his experience while groaning in pains was receiving treatment for gunshot injuries at the General Sani Abacha Specialist Hospital, Damaturu.

His mother, Hajiya Hauwa Lampo, who was sitting beside him on the hospital bed lamented the inability of government to protect the lives of the innocent students.

The mother passionately appealed to the Federal Government to “provide adequate security for all unity schools in Nigeria, particularly in the north eastern region of the country by constructing a fence that will shield the students from intruders. And if the government can not deploy adequate security personnel, they should despatch sniffer dogs into the schools to patrol every nook and corner and this will go a long way in curbing the insurgency.”

Ibrahim’s father, Mallam Musa Lampo, an immigration officer was still in shock over the incident and simply said: “I have committed everything into the hands of God.”
