the weekend at his residence. In this two hours long and interactive interview the entertainer talks
about his background, career, fame, love life and many more.
Can we get to know you?:
My name is Abraham Ibiang, born to Mr and Mrs
Bassey Ibiang, the 5th child out of 7, From Idomi community in Yakurr LGA,
Cross River State. Born & bred in Festac Town, Lagos. Sociologist BSW
(Unical 2007/2008) and Mass communication BSC (RSUST - in session).

How
long have you been in the entertainment industry?
Roughly 5 years,
professionally about 2 years and a quarter.
How
did you find your way into it?
Fell In love with
Music, Magazines and TV entertainment as a teen. Tried out the 1st magazine
business (Latest Magazine), couldn't pull that through due to lack of funds to
printing the dummy copies. Later got a presenting job with Sambass Films in
Port Harcourt, practiced the biz with the company and started my own
projects/companies a year later (Street Skillz Nigeria 2010), (Red-carpet
Experts Services, 2010) and (084 Entertainment Limited in 2011)
Between
MC & TV presenting what brought you fame?
I think the TV
presenting, it brought a lot of attention from all age brackets, I was on TV
talking to millions viewers for 30minutes every 'Monday to Friday' on
Silverbird TV, Port Harcourt for 2years. Thanks to God Almighty and all the
crew members that I've ever worked with. People added "MC" to the AB.
It was formally just AB, that's why my twitter/Instagram acct is @iamstillab.
In
the city of Port Harcourt there is arguably no weekend that we don't hear your
name been mention for one event or the other. How did you manage to build the
network that is working for you now?
I think I carry a great personality, when
people meet me or engage in a conversation with me, most times I hear them say
that am really different from when they expected or perceived (a proud or a
snub) I just smile each time I hear that, some even go as far as tweeting or
updating about how I kept them in awe over my humble personality. I don't have
any competition, I've always humbled myself to learning and being inspired. My
Mum will always tell me that "No knowledge is lost" and I always
remember that phrase. And finally it's just GOD's Grace and
Favor not by my effort.

How
do you manage stardom?
I don't see myself as
a Star. Am like every other gifted, ambitious young entrepreneur out there. The
dream is bigger than the "stardom"
All
entertainers are relocating to Lagos because it's the Headquarter of
entertainment in Africa. Are you relocating soon?
I have no plans of
relocating, instead am working on an office branch in Lagos. Business can be
transacted from any part of the world.

Yes i own it.
Can
you tell us what it's all about? tell us about how the idea came in, the vision
and mission of 084Tv.
084Tv is just a
branch of 084 Entertainment Limited; which is professionally an Events
Management and Entertainment Television Company. The sprung out from my passion
for entertainment. 084Tv is already a household name and we are just getting
started. Just watch!

use to be on air almost every day, what went wrong?
084TV has entertained
millions of viewers on STV PH and on Great Times on Metro Digital Cable for
about 2years, with pet projects like the annual 084TV VJ Search and PICK A
TRACK Contest we currently want to build our online visibility and later hit
the National Screens and other Entertainment Cable Channels.
Where
do you see 084Tv in the next five years?
Where God wants it to be.
Personally
will you call yourself a success in the entertainment industry?
I'm still putting
work to that. Success is like a journey, and I am on the road already.

I have practically
worked, interviewed and received endorsements from eventually all Top Nigerian
musicians and comedians from Tuface, Dbanj, Ice prince, Iyanya, Naeto C, Rayce,
Duncan Mighty, Waje, Llynx, Wizkid, Davido, Frank Edwards even A-list comedians
Ali Baba GCFR, Basketmouth, Igosave, Gordons, Klint d'Drunk, Dan D'Humorous etc... Not forgetting the international artiste that I've interviewed;
Shaggy, Akon, Cleo Patra, Ciara to mention but a few.
Which ones do you have interest in working with in the future?
I look forward to working with the
biggest names/brands making big bucks in the world of entertainment.m not
particular about any individual.
Who is the lucky lady in your life?

I think that will be my current
apartment. Worth way more than my car. Lol!
