The dog was specifically charged with assault, while Gabriel was charged with negligence under the Criminal Code.

Narrating what happened, Anwam who hails from Akwa Ibom State, southsouth Nigeria, said when he was returning home from work and he had almost reached his house, he met Gabriel on the way holding his dog with chain.
He said he was surprised when the dog jumped on him and bit his penis before he could be rescued from it.
Anwam narrated that when he discovered that his trousers was stained with blood, he quickly rushed home to check his penis and discovered that he had been severely  injured.
He complained that after the incident, he could not urinate easily.  He explained that when he attempted to urinate, blood flowed from his penis and he had to urinate with the aid of a pipe.
Anwam said when he went to a private hospital for treatment he was referred to the General Hospital on Lagos Island.
Following the incident, the police in Ikotun division arrested the dog Gabriel.
Confirming the incident, Gabriel said he was surprised the way his dog attacked Anwam.
He said he was holding the dog with chain when the dog suddenly attacked the bank worker who was passing by.
Gabriel said he had pleaded with Anwam and his wife about the incident and he has also offered to pay for his medical treatment before the police charged him to court.
When the dog and Gabriel were about to be arraigned, their plea was not taken.
The prosecutor, Mr Nicholas Atumonye, told the court that the parties involved in the matter wanted to settle out of court.
He told the court that the complainant had written a letter of withdrawal.

Policeman Sentenced To Death By Hanging For Killing 20year Old Man

 Emmanuel Victor

Justice has finally come the way of the family of slain Emmanuel Victor, a 20 year old young man who was killed in front of his mother by a trigger-happy Policeman, Mathew Egheghe, two years ago in Yenegoa, Bayelsa state.

Victor was shot dead after he confronted a group of policemen who were trying to extort money from motorists as he was coming back from church. Angered by his effrontery to question their action, Policeman Egheghe moved close to Victor and shot him at close range.
Narrating what happened, Victor's mother Grace, who witnessed the incident said:
"They shot my son brutally. As he fell while they were shooting him, the tallest of them still continued shooting him on the ground". She said she was harassed and stopped from going close to her dying son even as he lay gasping for life in the pool of his own blood.
Delivering his judgement on the case, Justice Lucky Boufili said that such a cruel act was only punishable by the maximum penalty which is death. He sentenced Mathew Egheghe to death by Hanging. The police has since dismissed Mathew Egheghe and his two accomplices from the force.

Photos: South Korean Woman Makes N1.5m Monthly Just Posting Videos Of Herself Eating Online

This South Korean woman Park Seo-yeon, 34, has turned an unusual online trend into hard cash, making more than £5,600 (N1.5m) a month by just livestreaming herself having dinner. Her plates of choice range from two medium pizzas to 30 fried eggs and a box of crab legs, or five packets of instant noodles.

Tens of thousands watch Park every day as she serves up disproportionately large meals in her Seoul flat and eats them, live, on a streaming site where she goes by the name The Diva. She can spend as long as three
hours eating in front of the camera, and thanks to the success of her show, Park was able to quit her day job at a consultancy firm and focus all her energy on her daily meals on camera. The mmoney she makes are from advertising and ‘donations’.

The trend, known as gastronomic voyeurism, has grown in recent months in South Korea, a country that has one of the highest increase in single households in the world. So people living alone get a sense of community when they watch Park eat.
