Auditions For Miss Curvy 2014 Begins Nationwide

All is now set for the maiden edition of Miss Curvy 2014, courtesy of Thick African Fab, a modeling, fashion and entertainment company that desires to mould thick curves into A-list personalities.

The organizers of the beauty pageant billed to hold in the last week of May 2014, are already planning and mobilizing for its nationwide auditions, which kick starts in the months of March and April, respectively. Continue...

According to the boss of Thick African Fab and prime mover of the pageant, Choice Hinkelmann aka JJ, the concept was borne out of the zeal to promote the plus size dream and give opportunities to every curve size individual to have a sense of self-confidence, as well as stature in the fashion industry.

“To register for Miss Curvy pageant, you must be between size12-42. You are also required to pay the sum of three thousand Naira only into June-July Marine Ventures, 1017790571 UBA bank account and immediately pick your forms with the teller at our designated offices. Hinkelmann further argued that the Miss Curvy pageant will create the perfect platform where fashion will be made in appreciation for the big, bold and beautiful women in the society.

The pageant, in the words of the promoters will also support the fight against diabetes by creating awareness that will help sustain the campaign of eradicating the scourge of the deadly disease in the society.
“For the very first time in Nigeria, there will be curvy, vivacious and charming plus size queens in this year’s huge fashion contest. And the eventual winner and runners up will be hugely rewarded with car and cash prizes alongside a mouth watering one year working contract,” Hinkelmann added.

The coming event is proudly powered by JJ.

2face, others panic on aborted Aero flight as plane door is found open after 30mins flight

undefined
Found this news on The Nation. The story teller can tell stories sha. I almost can see him flipping his weave after telling his story. Lol. See the report and his account of events below..
There was panic aboard Aero Contractors Flight Aj2002 from Lagos to Douala today Friday February 14th when passengers, including 2Face Idibia discovered that one of the doors was open 30 minutes after take-off.
An angry passenger who does not want his name mentioned told The Nation that passengers had finished taking  their refreshment onboard the small aircraft when a signal came that a door was not locked and they should return to Lagos.
“Remember that small plane you guys used that day to Douala, Aero? Hmm! We left Lagos with it and like 30 minutes later on air, after all the refreshments. I had finished eating and then announcement came in that there’s a signal that the door is open somewhere. That it is required we return to Lagos. Returning to Lagos was hell. Plane flew so low and that’s how we managed back.
“For 40 minutes, they said we should wait in the plane and 20 minutes later they said we should descend. We are back to boarding room now. Thank God.
"Even 2Face was in the flight and has left to the VIP lounge now. That is my story for today. They said a new plane is coming, and so, we are waiting till 4pm for it.
“That aircraft should not be allowed to fly,” he said.
