The former NANS President made the presentation
last Tuesday in Uyo in support of the efforts of the Governor’s wife,
Mrs. Ekaette Unoma Akpabio to improve the lots of widows and the less
privileged in the state.
He described the State Governor, Chief Akipabio and wife, Unoma as youth friendly and models of qualitative education.
He appreciated the governor and his wife for setting a good example in
leadership for the younger generation to emulate and urged students to
utilize their time in school effectively.
The Ibiono Ibom born
activist commended the beneficiary for his zeal despite his challenge
and encouraged students to be skill driven if they must rise above the
menacing rate of youth unemployment in the country. He also promised to
given a wheel chair to another female student facing similar challenge.
The president, Students Union Government (SUG) of Uyo City Polytechnic,
Comrade Mkpoikana Okon Eno thanked the state governor whom he noted has
given Akwa Ibom people a voice while also appreciating Comrade
Ememobong for the gesture.
Responding, the beneficiary who could
not hide his excitement thanked the former student leader for the
donation which he said will go a long way to aiding his movement.
Earlier, the erstwhile TV presenter had presented an air-conditioning
set to 24/7Naija Tv, an on-line television outfit in the state to
encourage the initiative.
