The Lille of France goaltender has been in superb form since his return to the French Lique 1 side after a season-long loan stint at Israeli side,Maccabi Tel Aviv, keeping eight clean sheets in 10 league games including five straight games without conceeding a goal.
The Nigerian was in his elements last weekend, stopping an 85th minute penalty against Montpellier to extend his clean sheets to eight.
Enyeama believes he is just scratching the surface of what he is capable of doing and added that he would be around until he clocks 40 years of age. "I feel like I'm still in my nursery years, my learning curves... My best years are still to come, I guess. I'll play until I'm 40. I love football, I love the game,''he told lique 1.com.
The former Enyimba of Aba shot stopper believes he is divinely backed to become what he has become today after being declared surplus to requirement at the club just a little over a year ago.
'I will not say I was lucky to stop Montpellier's late penalty on Saturday although I believe I am being guided by God because I believe in Him,'he told his club's official website.
He also praised his teammates for providing him with the cover he needs to achieve what he has achieved so far.
" I will especially like to acknowledge and thank my teammates who did a good job against Montpellier. They ran, tackled, fought to the end to defend the advantage we had early in the game . Clearly, they did a fantastic job , the players and the entire staff of the club.We had a wonderful evening.''
